Judge #1 Comments: This is a highly charged movie packed with witness statements from the cat community and its carers. I would call each one a hero or heroine. This is an impressive and eloquent achievement that does its best to bring balance to a hugely emotive subject and my heart is 100% with those Boardwalk cats and Connie and Ray. (I also note that the implied level of hatred eye-opening!) The music supports the reports and subtly emphasizes gentle and dramatic moments and the editing by Lennon Nersesian is hugely impressive (I learned so much as an amateur moviemaker). The production’s professional quality is an amazing tribute to the cats we all want to defend and a tribute to the the people on the kitty defensive front line. I had no idea so many people hated cats as much as people love cats and this REALLY hit home.
